This fits well and has room for a light to add on.
Good protection
Unlike many others , this had no odour…for those w/ allergies/sensitivity
Looks nice…colour catches attention and compliments
Does NOT have the problem areas that can break or gouge your Kindle. Holds well, no problems at all ever
‘Stand” up OK , but I rarely use that feature…..so I am not being definitive on that JUST in case. I would not want
to mislead anyone
I think this is the BEST out there and that is my honest opinion

I received the M-edge cover today. The cover was clearly designed for a Kindle 2 as it fits perfectly and the Kindle is held snugly in place. (Please note that the reviewers saying it doesn’t fit wrote reviews before the first covers had even shipped from M-edge.) The cover is well made, the stitching is neat and even and the leather very smooth. At first I was concerned whether or not the cover would hold the Kindle at the correct angle to read if the cover was used standing up. But with a little adjustment, it worked fine and makes for great hands free reading. I have the Mighty Brite light, which can be clipped on to the top. Overall, the cover is very attractive and holds the Kindle securely and looks like it will provide good protection.
One slight negative is that I’ve found the Kindle 2 to be top heavy when holding it and then adding a cover that flips over the top adds to that uneven distribution of weight. It’s a not a big problem but it is something that makes the Platform cover different from the prodigy or the executive that if you’re concerned about the weight might make the other style slightly easier to hold.
But I would not describe the color as sapphire, it’s closer to a dark teal blue, not the pure blue that I saw on my monitor when ordering. It’s attractive but had I seen that this was the color, I would have gotten red or fuschia.

I loved the cover for my Kindle. The color is beautiful and not as bright as I was araid it might be
