Just got this case for my new Kindle 2. First off, it’s beautiful. Love the pebbled leather and the color is a very nice shade. I was concerned about how safe my Kindle would be–the straps seem smallish. But it is 100% anchored in the case. I opened the case with the Kindle in it, held it upside down, shook it back and forth (forcefully, but over the bed!) and it didn’t budge. It’s in there tightly, and I feel it’s well anchored. I’m happy to have such a beautiful cover for something I love so much and want to protect! I may even buy a 2nd in a different color!
