The cover fits the kindle well but the leather is shiny and cheap looking. You can’t tell it’s real leather, it looks like that faux stuff.
I thought I was being too picky, so I took the Kindle in the cover with me to my hair salon. My hair stylist said the cover looked like fake leather.
For $45 I expected a good quality leather cover. This cover looks like cheap vinyl.

I just don’t agree with the other (one star) poster and maybe they got unlucky and got a bad cover but mine is lovely. The leather is high quality and I am just loving the jade color! The cover bends back without a problem and it’s very comfortable to read with even the booklight inserted. Great product – very happy with it and will purchase another color in the near future – yes, red is calling my name. :>)

I received my M-edge Executive Jacket in the mail yesterday. It fits beautifully and the 4 corner strap system holds my Kindle 2 in place securely without covering any of the function keys. All the ports are easily accessed when the Kindle is in the cover, and you don’t need to take the Kindle out of the jacket in order to charge it. The jade green color is vibrant and the stitching is even and consistent. I also like that there is a closure strap that keeps the cover closed and protected when not in use. Highly recommended.
